RSPCA Clinic Folkestone

At Burnham House Veterinary Surgery, we assist the RSPCA Folkestone & District branch by

running an RSPCA clinic from our Havelock Veterinary Surgery at 180 Dover Road,

Folkestone CT20 1NX.

The clinic is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (except bank holidays) 2.30pm-3.30pm.

The clinic offers reduced price consultations, medications, flea treatment and wormers for

low-income households. It is a drop-in session so no need to book, just turn up.

To access the reduced cost veterinary care at the clinic you must be in receipt of any state benefit,

excluding working tax credits.

If you are attending the clinic, please bring with you your proof of benefits as our receptionist will need to take a copy of this.

Charity Neutering Schemes

Neutering support is available to clients from low-income households. There are currently three schemes which Burnham House Vets support:

If you live in Folkestone or the surrounding area and are in receipt of certain state benefits you may be applicable for discounted neutering for your dogs and cats. To see if you meet the criteria, please bring your proof of benefits to any of our branches and ask about RSPCA neutering. We will ask you to complete a 'neutering application form' and take a copy of your benefits letter. Once this is done, we can then book your pet in for their neutering operation on a day to suit you at either out Dover or Folkestone branches. You will need to pay your contribution towards the neutering on the day of your pet's surgery.

Neutering support from the Dover RSPCA branch differs slightly from the Folkestone scheme, but still allows you to neuter your cats and dogs at a vastly reduced rate. If you live in Dover or surrounding areas, please bring your proof of benefits to any of our branches. Our receptionist will check your post code and will complete a form with you. Once completed, we can book your pet's operation at a convenient time to suit you, at either our Dover or Folkestone branches. You will need to pay your contribution to your pet's neutering on the day of surgery.

If you own a Staffordshire bull terrier or a Staffy-cross, you may be applicable for discounted neutering under the Staffy Neutering Scheme. Please ask at any of our branches for more information. Our receptionists will give you a number to phone to speak to the Staffy Neutering Scheme and arrange for your dog's voucher. Once you have the voucher, you can then book your dog's operation with us at a convenient day to suit you. Your contribution to the neutering fee will be due for payment on the day of surgery.
