Last week we had one of our larger wildlife visitors staying for a few days. This adult swan was brought to us for a few days rehabilitation after he sustained some superficial injuries to his face and showed signs of malnutrition and lethargy. With some TLC from our nursing staff and a few days rest he was soon very much back to his strong (and slightly fiesty!) self and very ready to move on from our care.
He has now been transferred to RSPCA Mallydams Wood, a wildlife rehabilitation centre, where he will continue his journey back to health for release into the wild again.
