If you have visited us recently you will have seen the signage at the entrance to Castle Street warning of a road closure on Sunday 19th November 2017.
Unfortunately, despite discussions with the council, owners will not be able to pull up outside our practice during the closure, and critical cases may have to be carried down the street. A diversion will be put in place to allow traffic both ways to Stembrook car park (see diversion route plan below). From there patients will need to be transported by foot. The closure is planned to last from 9am until 9pm.
Patients trying to access a regular emergency clinic on Sunday will also be affected. To allow access to our drop-in session, the session will run from our Whitfield Branch on 19th November only from 9.30am-10am. This offers parking to those attending and means that access to veterinary care is not compromised.
Principal Vet Jeremy Stattersfield says "We want to reassure owners that it's business as usual and staff will be on hand to help"
